Join Artist Kate Evans to explore the work of Kameelah Janan Rasheed, one of six artists selected for this year’s Artes Mundi 11 art prize, whose work is on display in the Glynn Vivian Art Gallery’s Atrium Space.
Kameelah Janan Rasheed work explores the poetics, politics and pleasures of communication through her multidisciplinary practice involving the relationships between written language, loss and fugitive meaning.

This tour is designed for Deaf audiences and will give an overview of the work on show, its context within the wider exhibition and an insight into the Artist’s practice and background. The relaxed tour will be delivered in British Sign Language.
