It has been programmed to coincide with the Gower Festival of Music and the Arts 2024, which takes place in July. Celebrating Gower as an inspiration for artists adds a special local interest to this year’s festival.

Glynn Vivian Art Gallery is delighted to present Tigers & Dragons: India and Wales in Britain, an extraordinary exhibition that delves into the deep-rooted connections between the Indian Subcontinent and Wales.

This talk explores the remarkable life and legacy of Sir William Jones (1746–1794), the Welsh-born jurist whose work in late-18th-century Bengal forged enduring intellectual ties between Wales and India.
