Art Babas: Live

Tuesday 16 March 2021 //  by laura.gill

Tuesday 16 March 2021
10:30 am - 12:15 pm

Bird Feeders

Art Babas (English) 10:30 – 11:15

Babanod Celf (Cymraeg) 11:30-12:15

Artist Kate Evans will be here to deliver two new live sessions for parents and carers of pre – school children; one in English, followed by one in Welsh.

Explore sound, language, textures, shapes and colours with your little one in these relaxed, sensory craft sessions.

Covering a different theme each week, the Art Babas sessions are specifically designed for pre-school children from 6 months to 4 years and their grown-ups.

30.03.21 – Join us as we celebrate signs of Spring, and give nature a helping hand during the cold weather. We’ll be talking birds nests and making bird feeders, with some fun suggestions for follow up activities that you and your Art Babas can share.

You will need:

  • An orange or empty yogurt pot
  • About 1/3 of a block of lard or suet
  • String
  • A handfull of bird food; dried bread, grains, dried cat food, old cheese (grated), cereal are also fine, but make sure they are free from any artificial sweeteners.
  • Wooden spoon
  • Saucepan or bowl
  • A twig

This workshop will take place live on Zoom. Webinar format with interaction via chat.
