Audio description tour of ‘Out of this World’

Thursday 24 October 2024 //  by laura.gill

Thursday 24 October 2024
1:50 pm - 3:00 pm

The Gallery's Atrium space, filled with floating parachutes, each one with it's own projected image of elements of the natural world
Heather Phillipson, Out of this World, 2024. Collage gwaith yr artist, trwy garedigrwydd yr artist.

Join our learning team on this special audio description tour of Heather Phillipson’s Out of this World exhibition.

In Out of this World, Heather Phillipson plots a sequence of sonic and atmospheric conditions that conjure airspace, aerospace and outer space.

This specially designed tour for people with a visual impairment will give you an insight into the Artist’s practice, and provide a powerful mental image that will illuminate the work and ideas contained within.

Audio descriptions will be made available to listen to after the event on Glynn Vivian guide on the Bloomberg Connects app.

Free, booking essential
