Spanning video, painting, photography and archive materials, this exhibition seeks to bridge the gaps between dominant narratives of colonisation and hidden histories.

On Your Face x Glynn Vivian:

Queer Reflections

Friday 22 July – Sunday 18 September 2022

Led by artist Fox Irving, ‘On Your Face collective’ have come together to occupy space and to respond and reflect upon the artworks that are part of the Glynn Vivian Permanent Collection. Through the group’s interactions with each other and the artworks in the Glynn Vivian’s collection, they have playfully explored and synthesised new narratives of what it means to be gay/lesbian, queer, and/or neurodivergent in Wales today.

Join On Your Face artist, Africa, for a performance in the gallery, throughout the evening.

Speeches will take place at 6pm, followed by introductory talks by the artists.

Workshops for all ages, and live music by Setonji Spirit in the café..

Café  and bar open.

No booking required. Drop in and join us at any time. Everyone welcome

Free entry, donations welcome
