We are Invisible, We are Visible (WAIWAV)

Saturday 2 July 2022 //  by laura.gill

Saturday 2 July 2022
11:00 am - 3:00 pm

Presented by DASH, the disabled led visual arts organisation

With artist Chris Tally Evans

Interventions and Artist Talk – Chris Tally Evans

Join us on Saturday 2 July for a series of interventions and an artist talk with ‘We are Invisible, We are Visible’ artist, Chris Tally Evans.

From 11am, join artist Chris Tally Evans at the Glynn Vivian Art Gallery for an insightful, informative and irreverent look at the Glynn Vivian’s collection like you’ve never seen it before.

Siri the Art Critic

You might think that art galleries aren’t much fun for blind and visually impaired people. All those untouchable paintings hanging silently on the walls. But what if your phone was a friendly art critic who would describe and give opinions on paintings, sculptures and installations.

This will be followed by an artist talk at 12pm, where he will discuss his experiences creating work as a disabled artist, disability art in general and the making of WAIWAV intervention.
