Creative Workshops for young people (age 13-17) drawing on the screen-based collection with artist Zillah Bowes
Tuesday 14 April 2026
1:30pm – 4:30pm

A video workshop using objects inspired by Hetain Patel’s Come As You Really Are, 2024 and Helen Sear’s Chameleon, 2012
Participants will bring in a relatively small, everyday object that is important to them. In the work shop, they will film the object in a way that enhances its beauty and meaning, and/or changes the way that it can be perceived. The workshop group will also film their collective objects together to explore new visual and thematic connections between them. Participants will explore the use of lenses and light to create these effects. (Participants are also welcome to use an object from the workshop space or gallery garden).
