Friends of the Glynn Vivian talk: Sian Richardson

Friday 25 April 2025 //  by laura.gill

Friday 25 April 2025
12:30 pm - 1:30 pm

Hetain Patel, Come As You Really Are (film still), 2024

Join us for this free talk with Sian Richardson, founder of The Bluetits Chill Swimmers!

Sian will share her insights on the remarkable ‘superpower’ benefits of cold-water dipping within the inclusive Bluetit community that she founded a decade ago.

The Bluetits is a social enterprise that exists to encourage people to give cold water swimming a go. Run by volunteers, with a worldwide community of over 100 social groups that you can join for free and find swim buddies.

On display in Room 3, as part of the Come As You Really Are ꞁ Swansea Open 2025 exhibition is a new film by Hetain Patel, co-commissioned by Artangel and partners, which explores the outstanding creativity and passion that people put into their hobbies and features The Bluetits on Aberavon beach.

Free, booking essential
