Saturday 28 October 2023
10:30 am - 2:30 pm

artwork by artist Roz Morton. A face cast made form fabric, mounted on a natural paper backing
Roz Morton, ‘Silent Voices, Pandemic Numbers’

For adults aged 16+

Join our accessible adult art workshops, introducing techniques, ideas and materials every month based around our exhibition and displays programme.

‘SELF’ a Portrait of Life

Take a tour of ‘Aildanio’ Disability Arts Cymru Arts Prize with exhibiting artist Roz Moreton. (Aildanio English translation; ‘rekindle/relight’).

Workshop participants will then be asked to look at themselves plus discuss their own ‘Aildanio’ moment, whatever that might be.

Go on a journey of investigating and recording creative ways of looking at ‘oneself’, exploring your own feelings and emotions and how you can represent these creatively, using nature and sustainable materials to create images and objects to portray a unique portrait of yourself.

No experience necessary. All materials provided

Free. Limited spaces. Booking essential. Call 01792 516900 or book online
