Time-Based Sculpture with Nature
Tuesday 9 June 26
1:30pm – 4:30pm
A time-based sculpture workshop using nature materials inspired by Jonathan
Anderson’s Sand House, 2006 and Time & Tide, 2008
Participants will create simple, temporary sculptures using natural materials
from the gallery garden or workshop space. The workshop will focus on process
and transformation, exploring how sculptures can change over time through
movement, weather or touch, even in a subtle way. They will experiment with
arranging, stacking, shaping and combining materials to create forms that
respond to their environment. Participants will document their sculpture
through photography or a short video, capturing its changing form.
