  • Artes Mundi 11, Presenting Partner: Bagri Foundation – Biennial exhibition for eleventh editionThursday 19 June 2025
    The UK’s leading biennial exhibition and international contemporary art prize is delighted to announce exhibition details for its eleventh edition. Artes Mundi 11 with presenting partner Bagri Foundation (AM11) will feature six international contemporary visual artists and take place across Wales from 24 October 2025 to 1 March 2026.

    The Wakelin Award is administered by the Friends of the Glynn Vivian and results in a work of fine art or craft being purchased for the Gallery collection. In 2021, the work was selected by artist, writer and curator Anthony Shapland, who is also a previous recipient of the award.

    Glynn Vivian has launched a new, digital guide on Bloomberg Connects, the free arts and cultural app created by Bloomberg Philanthropies. The Bloomberg Connects app, available for download from Google Play or the App Store, makes Glynn Vivian accessible for either onsite or offsite visits through photo, audio and video features offering insights into exhibitions, collections, and programme.

    The Russian Doll is Kristel Trow’s most intimate work to date, a series of new black and white photographic portraits of women who have experienced adversity in their lives. Multi award-winning writer and filmmaker, Will Millard, has also documented Kristel Trow’s journey to creating the work.
